There are many other Kawai digital piano models available, and we also offer Kawai ES and portable keyboards such as Kawai ES 110, Kawai ES520, and Kawai ES720. While very impressive for their respective cost, portability comes with trade offs and certain touch/tone qualities that are important for students dictate that for standard home use and especially beginners, the CN or CA series are more suitable. We can also order Kawai piano models such as the CP or MP series, but these are more suitable as stage piano or arranger stations than home pianos. Kawai hybrid pianos are available at Allegro Pianos. The company pioneered the use of the most advanced hybrid pianos on the market today, featuring a digitally generated tone that is transmitted through acoustic soundboard components such as the CA 901 and/or actual acoustic piano actions that can be regulated such as those found on Kawai's Novus 10 and Novus 5 pianos.
Others are 'acoustic hybrid pianos', dubbed ATX or 'anytime' pianos as they allow a classic acoustic piano the use of headphones at a flick of a button. Models such as the K15 ATX2 and K200 ATX3 which we carry at our showroom, allow the benefits of both an acoustic and a digital piano in one package and at a very affordable price.
Kawai Aures series of silent pianos, including the K300 Aures 2 and K 500 Aures 2 that can be played on Allegro Pianos showroom floor, raise the bar even one step higher as in addition to headphone use, a unique soundboard speaker system allowing for volume control through the acoustic piano soundboard, as well as choice of many piano and other exciting voices.
