When visiting the quaint village of Lobau, where the Förster factory is located since it founded in 1857, it seems that time stood by, and that the manufacturing for these pianos has continued for over a century and a half with little change.
Preserving and transferring the piano building traditions begun by the founder, August Förster, from one generation to the next, has clearly been a priority for the Forster family, which continues to own and manage the factory to this day.
