Situated in North Stamford, CT, just 45 minutes from mid-town Manhattan. Our friendly, unhurried showroom is designed to invite you to linger among more than 50 perfectly prepped grand pianos, and a good selection of upright pianos, so that you may find the instrument that is just right just for you.
Play and compare a wide variety of instruments.
Whether pianos by Yamaha and Kawai, American instruments such as Steinway and Mason & Hamlin, or the highest level of European performance pianos such as Bosendorfer, Bluthner, Steingraeber, August Forster, Estonia and more. Learn how the important distinguishing features in the design and construction of these and other fine pianos affect the tone, touch, longevity and value of the instrument, and find the piano that is just right for you.
The high performance, hand crafted instruments that we represent, substantially differ from each other in sound qualities, offering diverse choices of tone and touch. Our Bösendorfer, Blüthner and Steingraeber pianos are perhaps the most revered and uniquely made instruments in the piano industry. While being motivated by a similar philosophy of uncompromising excellence and search for perfection, each has its own distinct character.
A high degree of customization and personalization of these pianos is available.
Estonia and August Forster are two other fine examples of limited production, high performance European made pianos, featuring different interpretations of the ideal sound.
Our Steinway pianos, represent the best of American piano making, while Bohemia pianos, made in the Czech republic, offer an elegant tone and touch, and are an excellent value in the mid priced piano range.
Finally, Irmler pianos represent a unique approach for pianos coming from the orient, and a surprising value. It is perhaps the first attempt to build a piano that emphasizes musical qualities in a region of the world dominated by makers that are known for mass production and lower prices rather than high quality manufacturing. With quality control and guidance by Bluthner, its mother company, Irmler pianos redefines ones expectation of musicality and value.
Generous trade-in allowances, trade-up programs and easy-term financing are all available to help make your piano buying experience as rewarding and easy as possible.
So spend some time with us, learn about pianos and know that whatever piano you buy will be the right one for you and that it will have the long-term support of Allegro Pianos, your personal guide to the world of fine pianos.
A Word From Ori Bukai - Owner Of Allegro Pianos.
Buying a piano can be a wonderful but sometimes confusing experience. There are so many makes, styles and types and myriad levels of craftsmanship. Some are new, some are used, some reconditioned, and others are rebuilt and there are pianos to be had at almost every price level. I always advise my customers to invest the time to learn about pianos. A knowledgeable customer is more likely to choose an instrument that is right for her purposes and to be pleased with her choice for the long term. I enjoy taking the time to explain piano design, to show how it bears on the sound and the feel of a piano as well as on its longevity. After all, a piano is likely to be part of your life and your home for a long time and so I consider it to be my responsibility to help you find the piano that is right for you.
